Welcome!

Welcome to 222 Arbor Court! This is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom unit near the entrance of Village Green. The front door faces south and the unit to the left is an end unit so we are just the second unit in on Arbor Court. See the map below from the Village Green website to see where we are in relation to everyone else.

Some things to note about this unit. The Air Conditioning was replaced in 2008. We didn't realize how nice of an amenity this was until we moved in and walked around other units and you can tell some of the Air Conditioning units look like they were put in when the places were built in the 60s. It's nice to know that the Air Conditioning won't being dying any time soon because boy does it get hot here!

Arbor Court is the street our front door faces and just across the street is a small little park with baby swings and a slide. Just our the back door and down the parking lot is the "big park" with several jungle gyms, tons of swings, etc.

We are asking $45,000 for our unit.

The Kitchen

Our kitchen has had a bit of a face lift in the last year. The stove/oven and the fridge were just recently replaced. Before that the appliances were as old as me from the mid 1980s.

This is the sliding glass back door. There are two decent size landings on each side of the steps for BBQ grills, bikes, etc. One of the best perks of this unit is that your assigned parking space is right out your back door and there is an extra open spot right next to the assigned spot if you have two cars. Makes unloading kids and groceries super convenient. Some units have spots that are quite the walk from the car to the house.
Because our unit only has one bathroom we have a much larger kitchen and living room. Having one bathroom has never bothered us and we quite like having the extra living space that bathrooms take up in some of the other units.
Another perk is the built in dishwasher. Not all units have one or if they do its a portable one that has to be hooked up to the sink to run and you can't use your sink during that time. Ours doesn't. It runs just as a normal dishwasher.

The new fridge. The cupboards to the right of the entry to the living room is a small pantry.
The door to the left is the door to the basement. The cute shelf at the top is fun to have too. The ceiling fan and lights are so nice to have. For some reason overhead lighting isn't something that was originally put into any of the units. Ours has overhead lighting and fans in all the bedrooms and the kitchen. The living room is the only room without overhead lighting.

The Basement

We love our basement. It's a perfect combo of living space and a ton of storage.
Here's the view from the stairs.
This toy corner is just at the bottom of the stairs.

This is a huge couch and we still have a ton of space.
This door leads into the storage room.

This couch was left by the last tenants and we've just kept it in the storage room because honestly it's been nice to have a place to set laundry but we are willing to leave it here if you are in need of a sofa.
The view from the door of the storage room. These black shelves are ours but we'd be willing to negotiate leaving them if you are in need of extra shelving.
The washer and dryer are ours too but their are obviously hookups for your own.
The furnace and lots of room to store your empty boxes from moving.
These wood shelves are built in and provide a ton of storage space.

Upstairs Bathroom and 3 Rooms

Here is the bathroom with plenty of counter space. The cabinet under the sink is just one of our night stand cupboards so you can change it and put whatever you want under the counter. We put in a brand new mirror, light fixture, towel rack, toilet flusher, bath towel hanger and toilet paper roll holder so that everything matches. Linoleum floors.

The Master Bedroom. Beautiful hard wood floors with the window facing South to the front of the house. We love the size of our room. We do have a Queen Size bed so you get an idea. The double folding closet doors are to the right of this picture. All 3 bedrooms have overhead lighting and ceiling fans which most places at Village Green don't have. SO nice during the crazy hot summers!

Room #2. This is the first spare room at the top of the stairs. The window faces to the North. Again a queen size bed. Note the ceiling fan and overhead light. This room always stays well lit from the window. The walls are a linen Grey/White color. The closet is a half closet.

Room #3. Right next to Room #2 and cross the hall from the Master. The window in this room is square in the middle of the wall.

We have also installed high end double wood shutters. When closed this room stays nearly completely dark.

Much larger double closet similar in size to the Master bedroom.

Living Room

This is the living room. The big window faces South out to a little park across Arbor Ct. with baby swings and a slide. The living room is quite roomy and lots of room for multiple seating set ups.

We are willing to leave this upright piano if you are interested.

The front door and a coat closet with folding doors.
